The target shooting section of Milan is a lively reality in the huge italian sport scenery. We know very little about the various rifle-range that during the '800's where hosting the milanese fans of this sport. What we know is the existence of two small target shooting camps that in 1850 where located right downtown Milan, in the Porta Venezia area. It is after 1860 that the rifle-range of Piazzale Cadorna was built; the story tells that it was March 22nd 1862 when the opening shot was fired at a distance of 100 mts. And the famous shooter was Giuseppe Garibaldi.
