Faq

At what time can we check in?

From 12:00 p.m. on the day of arrival: Please excuse us if, as sporadically can happen, a small delay in checking in may occur, this will only happen when our hotel was fully booked the night before and the previous guests were late in checking out.

At what time can we check out?

We kindly as our guests to check out by 12:00, if you require the room for a little longer please do not hesitate to ask us well at least 24 hours prior to departure so we can make the necessary arrangements.

After we check out can we leave our bags in the hotel?

Yes, you may leave your bags in our luggage deposit hold after you have checked out.

What time is the restaurant open from?

Our restaurant is open from 12pm to 2:30pm and from 7pm to 1am.

What time is breakfast?

A rich Buffet Breakfast, serving both hot and cold items is served from 7am.

Where can I leave my car?

Our hotel has its’ own private garage ; when you make your reservation please let us know if you require a parking place.

Does your hotel have Internet?

Yes, every hotel room has an internet port where you can connect your laptop, also broadband wireless cards are available from reception. In addition the hotel also has a public internet point in the hotel lobby where guests may access the internet 24 hours a day.

Do you provide transport to and from the airport, exhibition center or attractions?

On request we may supply you with a private limousine or minivan.

How do I make a booking through your site?

It is possible to book through the site of the Antares Hotels Milan by clicking on the button BOOK. To confirm your booking you will be asked for your credit card details – we need this information in order to guarantee the booking although no money will be debited until you check out of the hotel. The booking system is safe and secure and at the end of the booking you will receive an email confirmation containing all of your details and your booking reference number.

How can I cancel or amend my reservation?

To cancel or modify a booking simply return to any page on our website and click on BOOK – at the bottom of the page there should be a field called “Need to amend or cancel a booking?” If you click on this you will be requested your name, arrival date your booking reference number. Once you have input these details click on “Show Booking” and your booking details will appear. You can then cancel or modify your reservation as required. NB you may cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before arrival with no charge, all cancellations received after such time a 01 night late cancellation charge will apply.

Are children free, what child concessions do you offer?

Children up to 12 years old are free of charge if they sleep in their parents room.

Can I pay on arrival?

Yes, you may pay at any time you so desire.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards: American Express - Visa - Diners - Carta Sì - Master Card - Carte Blanche - JCB - Bancomat.

Do you have rooms without carpets?

Yes some of our rooms have parquet wooden flooring.

Does the hotel have lifts / elevators?

There are six floors which are served by 2 modern lifts, one of which is a glass elevator located on the exterior of the building – in this way one can enjoy the panoramic view of the city.

Do the rooms have air conditioning?

Yes, air conditioning is controlled from inside the room by a thermostat and is included in the room rate.

Do the rooms have satellite television and telephone? Do you have Pay tv?

Yes, all rooms contain private telephone and satellite television. Yes, pay tv is available showing the latest Hollywood blockbusters in both English and Italian.

Do you have non smoking rooms?

Yes, non smoking rooms are available on request.

Which languages are spoken at reception?

English, French and a little Spanish and German.

Are you open all year?

Yes, the hotel is open 24hours a day all year except for 20 days in August when we are closed.

Where are the nearest shops?

The Rinascente, the most elegant and the biggest department store in Italy is located in Viale Certosa, 29 only 500 metres from the Hotel Accademia and a brand new shopping mall called "Il Portello" is located at 100 mts. from the Hotel.

How far is the Duomo i.e. the Cathedral of Milan?

The Duomo is only 6km from the hotel and is easily reachable either by car or by public transport. 50 Metres from the hotel you will find a tram stop where tram numbers 14 and 19 stop, the journey time to the Duomo is approximately 15 minutes. The number 14 will drop you off in Piazza Duomo whereas the number 19 will drop you off in Via Spadari only 100 metres from the Duomo.

How far is the San Siro (also know as the Giuseppe Meazza stadium)?

The stadium is only 2km from the hotel Accademia and the easiest way to get there is to walk – journey time 15 to 20 minutes. Alternatively, if you take the car it will take 5 minutes.

Can you provide tickets for AC Milan or Inter football matches?

Yes, it is possibile but this service is only available for those guests of the hotel.

Does the hotel conform to EU and Italian Fire Regulations?

Yes, our hotel is completely up to standard with regards to EU and Italian Fire regulations. All rooms and public areas have been bitted with smoke alarms and all doors are fireproof.

Security and Privacy

Our hotel is fitted with CCTV – Closed Circuit Television Network for the protection and benefit of yourself and private possessions.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we accept pets but only small ones.

How do we get to Fieramilanocity and Fieramilano?

The Accademia Hotel is very close to Fiera Milano (Milan's International Trade Fair and Exhibition area) and Fiermilanocity in Rho. The Hotel Accademia gives you a free transfer from and to these spots.
