The Antares Hotels - l’Ospitalità brand in Milan was founded in 1986 at the same time as the opening of Hotel Accademia, but the hotel experience of the founders - the Boni brothers and Remo Eder - dates back much earlier to 1967, year of construction of Hotel Rubens followed by that of Hotel Concorde in 1972.
The soul and driving force of the group is Remo Eder, now President and Sole Director of the three companies owning the hotels: born in Trento and living in Milan, he is a pure hotelier with a long and consolidated experience in the industry, both in Italy and abroad, holding several senior positions at the institutional level in Lombardy. The 2000s marked a turning point for the management of the Antares brand, with the beginning of investment in organisation and structure, aimed at strengthening services and departments. At the same time, major architectural, technological and environmental remodelling has continued, steps that the brand has always implemented to meet the new expectations of the market and the company. For example, Antares Hotels Milano was the first group to get a wireless system throughout the hotel. Important awards have been received such as Premio Excellence 2001 and Premio Icaro 2003 - Italian hospitality on the Internet.
Today, the Antares Hotels Milano represent unique Boutique Hotels in terms of furniture, artwork, room quality, personalised services and problem-solving experience.
