Fiera Milano or Milan's Trade fair
and exhibition centre has one of the largest exhibition
grounds in Europe, occupying 26 pavilions, with a
gross exhibition space of 348,000 sq.m. as well as
200,000 sq.m for non-exhibiting activities.
The most recent and major work was done in the mid
90's with the construction of three new large pavilions
(14, 15 and 16), completely self-financed, on the
"Portello" area. These buildings offer modern
service and logistic structures.
Just 1 Km away from both Antares Hotels Accademia
and Rubens, it is also easily reached from The Antares
Hotel Concorde, simply take the subway red line at
the station of Turro (50m. From Hotel) and get off
in Amendola Fiera after more or less 15/20 minutes.

Fiera Milan - The
New Site |
A new Fiera Milan,
designed by renowned architect Massimiliano Fuksas,
is being built just 8 kilometers from the current
fairground.
The work on Europe’s largest open construction
project is proceeding at full speed, and on schedule.
The imposing complex represents an investment of 750
million Euros self-financed by Fondazione Fiera Milano.
The first pavilions will open in March, 2005. The
project will be fully operational in 2006
The new site will be connected to Milan by the subway
red line (stop RHO FIERA) that wil make it very easy
to reach it from any of the Antares Hotels Milan.
